𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.........
We recently took over a new supermarket account in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Unfortunately the site had a historical rodent issue and is located in a very well populated and infested location of the town.
On our initial survey of the site we identified the entire site to have problematic issues with Mice! Droppings and live nests were clearly evident throughout along with a poor pest management system in place!
On a daily basis Mice were destroying the clients stock - Their preference in food sources varied from Sun Flower Seeds, Chocolate Biscuits and Crisps.
We identified locations of the shelving units where Mice were cleverly climbing up the units and onto different levels - Smear marks were found evident!
We implemented swift changes which included a system called 𝙋𝙪𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 using our skills and knowledge within this industry.
Here's the results.......
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟭 - A full clean up operation was conducted. Removal of all monitors, rodenticides, droppings and nesting material. The site was then left for 8 days to affect the behavioural resistance of Mice!
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮 - Installation of single dose killing feed rodenticides and a wide range of trapping devices installed. Proofing work carried out both internally and externally!
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯 - Follow up visit found x14 Mice caught on traps with digestion on rodenticide points - Damage to stock reduced but still present!
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟰 - Follow up visit found x1 Mouse on a trap, substantial digestion of rodenticides found - Damage to stock minimal!
𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟱 - Follow up visit conducted - No mice caught on traps, no digestion on rodenticides - No damage to stock!
An ongoing Pest Management System is now in place with regular routine inspections!
