This afternoon we attended a lovely Church located in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
This indepth survey was conducted due to a severe Pigeon infestation located within the Bell Tower and loft void roof.
This infestation has been ongoing for over 10 years, approximately 50 - 100 Pigeons were evident in all locations throughout the voids, along with nests, dead Pigeons and squabs. The guano was approximately 20 inches deep in some locations.
The ingress point was identified as being the rear louvre where many Pigeons were seen entering and leaving to forage for food sources.
Recommendations have now been made for a total eradication of Pigeons, Bird Proofing and a major clean up operation.
